For The Word Of The Lord Is Right; And All His Works Are Done In Truth Psalm 3: 4 Kjv
Having trust in someone is challenging because it means you must reveal things about yourself that you want to keep hidden. This involves you to be completely vulnerable with the hope that its not used against you and ultimately leaves you feeling discarded. Every single promise God made will be delivered because he is faithful.

Bible Verses For Perspective In Stressful Times
Luke 12:25-26 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?
Stress-induced worry doesnt do anything to help your life. Remember whos really in control.
James 1:2-4 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
Early Christians realized that trials and challenges were a cause for joy, because they are building something more enduring and strong within us, forging a faith that will last. Could you dare to see your cause for stress as a cause for worship? For Christ is with you in it, making your faith and trust in him complete.
Romans 8:6 The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.
The world might tell you that all you need is a new and positive mindset. While positivity tips and tricks might be helpful for a moment, they dont build a deep foundation of the true life and peace found in God. Allow His Spirit to govern your mind, and notice how he leads you to something eternal, not fading or contrived.
Luke 21:34 Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap.
Help For Christian Burnout

Feelings of worry and stress are common for everyone. However, it can be tough for Christians if we think it is unspiritual or it may ruin our witness. Christians have a tendency to ignore our anxiety instead of facing it with Gods help.
Pastor burnout statistics show that 90% of pastors are frequently fatigued or worn out on a weekly or even a daily basis and 71% constantly fight depression . Pastor depression and burnout is indicative of a greater Christian problem, because if our spiritual leaders dont know how to find peace, what hope do we have?
I have created a book and online course to help caregivers maintain their motivation in giving to others. This material will be an excellent help for pastors and other Christians, who are often giving of themselves for the sake of others. The study will look into the lives of Abraham, David, Paul, Elijah, and many of Bible stories to find help to overcome anxiety and stress. The study is called, The Academy of Powerful Caregivers.

Worrying Is Not A Sin
When it comes to worrying, Jesus isn’t trying to shame us into not worrying. Instead, He is saying it is unnecessary to hurt ourselves in this way. He is offering relief from responsibilities that are not ours. While it is our responsibility to make the wisest choices with our time, opportunities, and resources, we need to realize that we are not responsible for the end results.
It is not your responsibility to win a contest. It is not your responsibility to ace every test, even if it is your responsibility to study. It is not your responsibility to make your peers happy, even if it is your responsibility to treat everyone with kindness and integrity. Do you see the difference?
Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 12:9, “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
Many times, stress stems from us seeking so, so hard to do everything in our own strength. But Paul reminds us that true strength comes from God Himself. Our imperfections are beautiful opportunities for God’s grace to shine through the cracks.
Bible Verses For Prayer & Petition
Proverbs 16:3 Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.
God invites us to partner our lives with him. Bring your plans and hopes and dreams to his feet, for your heart matters to him. He wants to lead you in the way you will go.
Psalm 37:5 Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this:
Are you trying to go your way on your own, or have you considered how God may want to guide you and encourage you along your path? Commit your journey into his hands.
Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
God doesnt want us to waste a moment of our lives bearing burdens on our own. Tell him whats bothering you, whats on your mind, what desires are in your heart. There is nothing too trivial to bring to him if it means your heart might be free from worry and stress.
Hebrews 4:16 Let us then approach Gods throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
We all need grace and mercy as we try to balance the moving pieces of life. Draw near to Gods throne with confidence, for his mercy is endless, and his grace is overflowing.
Psalm 102:17 He will respond to the prayer of the destitute; he will not despise their plea.

Lay Down Your Burdens
Before I share my 25 Bible verses for stress and anxiety, it is important to remember that many of our mental and emotional battles are caused by physical triggers. Research has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that eating a;wholesome diet;and avoiding harmful;chemicals;in our;water and the;air;that we breathe;can help stop stress and anxiety in its tracks.
Sadly, finding these things is becoming increasingly challenging;in our fallen world as toxic chemicals have overtaken our soil and atmosphere. In spite of our efforts to purchase essential products for a healthy home, we still get sick and God is here to bless you with His healing touch when you need it.
Using natural therapies like essential oils for stress and aromatherapy for anxiety;often prove to be effective remedies,;and making your own DIY anxiety aromatherapy;inhaler is a cinch!
But sometimes we need to address the spiritual and emotional root causes of anxiety. This verse in Psalms says, Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken.
It reminds me of how often the stress and anxiety we have in our life is something we place on ourselves. It becomes a burden. One we choose.
In these Bible verses about stress, one thing youll notice is the presence of the Lord. Hes always here for us able and willing to pick up our burdens. The question is, are you willing to let go?
The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.
~Psalm 9:9

The coronavirus hit my career right between the eyes. Being a Licensed Aesthetician , working in a medical office, I have always been blessed with a secure job. I have worked for my current physicians for over 18 years and have weathered economic recessions and depressions without losing too many patients in the process. The lull was usually short, and recovery came fairly quickly.
This was not the case with Covid-19 and its impact on our business. For the first time in my career, I was furloughed from my job and was not sure when I would be able to come back to work, if at all.;

What Does The Bible Say About Trusting God
![Managing My Stress [Free Printable] {Wanna Be Wednesday ...](https://www.stresstalk.net/wp-content/uploads/managing-my-stress-free-printable-wanna-be-wednesday.jpeg)
The Bible is the one written reason in why we have to trust God. Its a book bursting with Scriptures about how we need to trust God. Its Gods desire that we trust Him fully, He doesnt want us to trust Him when it suits us. Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. .
Having trust in the Lord is to fully submit to Him, to have complete confidence and security in Him. Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. . It means to have a firm belief that God will deliver His promises. We trust God through the special gift of faith we have been given to trust Him over anything. He is our creator, the all-powerful, omniscient God and we are commanded to retire ourselves to trust His plan.;

Having trust and faith in something we cannot see is not easy to do, but we have peace knowing Gods love surrounds us. We can trust that He is always working, even when we cannot see it. This Scripture is a clear instruction on believing everything God has said in His Word. We are vulnerable to God as all we can do is rely on Him.
Zacharias And Elisabeth’s Story Of Patience & Trust In God
Life can be a roller-coaster of unexpected twists and turns and we, the riders, have to find a way to navigate through it all. This can be a great demand on us, especially when we turn away from the things we desire.
So, having a yearning for something such as bearing a child can be very disheartening when it is not fulfilled. We know God has the plans for us, but as humans we can find our faith is tested. Just like how the childless and very old couple Zacharias and Elisabeth were. They both had to stand firm in their faith even though Elisabeth was past a child-bearing age.
Do you have something that has been unfulfilled? Something you are longing for and crying out to God to hear your prayers? And still, God provided. But the angel said unto him, Fear not Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John. .
Through this story, we can be inspired by the aptitude of trust they had to have in God whilst they were in a long season of waiting, to truly know what it means to stand firm in the faith.

Our walk with the Lord is not an easy one, but trusting in Him is crucial part of our Christian life.
Bible Verses About Trusting Others
The Bible speaks strongly in who you should trust. If we place our trust in humans, then we sadly put a boundary on Gods power over our lives. Its good to have a friend or family member to help us out in times of need, but depending on our own ideas will set us up for failure and we cannot forget the great promises God has for us. Humans are not perfect, and if we were, we would be like Jesus Christ. So, by placing our trust in humans, we will not succeed because they are bound to let us down.
